Now, what have I been up to this week...
-Oh yes, we're starrting another DnD campaign, and yours truly gets to be the rogue ^__^

DM: Okay, you come to a wall. It is just high to escape the grasp of any member, were they to jump their highest.
Me: Ha, that's easy, we can just toss the halfling!

Oh, while we were waiting for everyone to arrive, I was able to catch up on Red vs. Blue. Donut is so cute ^^
-In Art, we are working on a rather important project. It involves transcribing an image of our choice onto a large piece of sketch paper (through the use of a grid system,) and then shading it. I have chosen a picture of Alan "League of Extraordinary Gentlemen" Moore as the subject, and am finding the project to be rather fun, if not difficult.
Also, we were assigned new seats last class. I now sit in the back, which isn't much of an inconvenience, especially in due to the *raises pinky* 'this' who now faces me from across the room.
-I recently recieved an amazing text which compiles the whole of Da Vinci's work. It is rather large, taking the space of one and one half of the keyboard from which I now type. Though this obviously makes it a bit unwieldly for the purposes of resting on my lap, I am rather pleased to have it in my possession. ^^
-The other day, I purchased US Shonen Jump #10 (I am rather pleased with the Naruto translation for this installment,) a volume of Blade of the Immortal (ha, as much as I like this selection, the first I have read of the series, it does not feature the Manji, or his bloodworm antics, :\ ) and Soul Calibur 2 for the Nintendo Gamecube (which deserves a paragraph of its own ;) .)
Soul Calibur 2 is... It is amazing. I am very fond of it, enough so that I find it difficult to explain in words (though the hour at which I write this may contribute just as well. ^^; ) Well, for those of you who have already acquired the game, my favorite character is Cassie (3rd costume, ^^ ) equipped with the Spine Blade.
-Moore and O'Neal finally got around to releasing the final installment of the second volume of League of Extraordinary Gentlemen. Now I can finally grab the trade paperback ^^
Oh, and here's to hoping the rumors of a third Mythos-flavored volume is in the works, ;)
-We got to see O Brother, Where Art Thou in English, and are in the process of constructing an explication for the film. Great movie, I must say. My favorite scene is most assuredly when John Goodman beats the shit out of Everett and his simple-minded companion. The fake-out during the meeting was rather nicely done, as well.
Oh, I also had a nice chat with the *raises pinky* 'this.'
Which reminds me... I really do need to organize my more.. 'presentable' doodles into those clear-page folders I purchased a short while ago...
-Oh, Ping bitched about the layout. I should probably get around to updating it... ^^; And I read the 5th Harry Potter book. ¬_¬

So, Enargy hasn't updated for a while, eh? ^^;
I'll fill you people in on my trip to Missouri and the first few weeks of school some time later, I guess :P
For now, we talk about.. uh, other stuff ^^
- Games - Okay, after floating between forgetting about the poor thing, and not being able to kill that damn desert boss for a month, I've decided to take a break from my beloved Lufia: Ruins of Lore...
...And instead, now have Naruto loaded on my little flash cart. It's actually much more fun to play after having (finally) read all of the manga ^^ I love being able to do battle with my favorite characters such as Shika-love, Gaara, and Temari, especially now that I know who the fuck they are ;)
It's too bad that Tenten isn't in there, too :(
- Oh, and speaking of Naruto, have you seen the screens for the upcoming Naruto Strategy/RPG (Think Shining Force ^^) GBA game? According to what I've seen, this game shall fold my sox.
- Soul Calibur was just released stateside... I need to pick that up soon...
Actually, I've been meaning to pick up a few other games, too...

- School - So, we did a group project last week on a Greek/Roman myth of our choice. It was actually rather fun...
The myth we ended up choosing was "Orpheus and Eurydice" (my favorite. ^^) The other members of my 3-man cell (yes, I do like making allusions to Naruto ^^; ) had never heard of it, though :\
Me: Here, let's do this one! ^__^
Partner 1: O.. Or.. Ophlia?
Me: Orpheus :P
Partner 2: and E..You..Die...Say..?
Me: Eurydice.
Partner 1 + 2: ¬_¬ ¬_¬
Me: I'm not gay. ^^;
I wrote up a retelling of the myth, and made note of what the myth explained. Unfortunately, on the day it was due, I forgot to bring the clipart we were going to use for the poster *_*
I ended up skoodling a couple pictures (one of Orpheus looking really happy while playing his lyre, the other of Eurydice getting bitten by the snake) before it was our turn to present, so it wasn't like I *totally* fucked over our grade ^^;
I don't think we sounded as deadpan and monotone during our presentation as most of the other cells were, so that made me feel proud of of how comfortable of team was working together. :)
- Oh, and as an added bonus, the.. *holds up pinky* 'this' presented (the Greek origin myth) after me *^^*
- I turned in some shading stuff for Art... I like shading, because there's such an obvious improvement to be seen between each new attempt at it. Very motivating ^^
- I got to see the latest Naruto anime intro, thanks to Wooj :) Now I need to tidy up this harddrive so I have room to watch the actual episodes ^^;
- As for the long-awaited new layout... You can expect a spiffy background courtesy of yours truly by the end of the week, and perhaps some spiffy banners and gifs, as well ^_^
- Er, this looks like (more than) enough for tonight ^^;
